Golden Nile Hotel, Blackpool

I was truly upset with the condition of the rooms at this hotel. The filthy state, from dusty kettle to hair-covered bedding and decaying furniture, made it an unpleasant stay. On the upside, the location was good, and the staff were friendly enough, but cleanliness and communication between staff need improvement.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were fresh and clean, they were really small, making it a bit cramped especially when someone else was in the room. Unfortunately, there was no staff to clean and tidy the room during my stay, and some areas like the furniture and shower/toilet were in poor condition. The grey towels on the bed and the grubby nubby sheets and duvet were quite off-putting.

While the rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable, the furniture looked decaying and old, the shower and toilet area were not up to standard, and the overall space felt cramped. The location was handy, within walking distance to popular attractions, but the property could use a thorough cleaning. The breakfast offered was good but limited in variety, and the dining products seemed of cheaper quality.

The hotel had a perfect location, central to everything, and the staff couldn't do enough to help you. The rooms were a little small and weren't up to scratch despite being upgraded to a four-poster, with some grubbiness and damp patches. The dining was good, they were really tasty with cereal available, fresh orange juice, and decent coffee. The facilities were generally enjoyable, offering freshly brewed coffee.

The hotel was a complete disappointment; decaying, old furniture, disgusting shower, and cramped space made it a health hazard. However, the location was convenient and the staff somewhat friendly. The dining experience was subpar with tasteless and disappointing options. The facilities were lacking and left much to be desired.
